I'm one of the few people working on the progressive values area, I'm trying to help take back the Values topic from the conservative movement.

Steps I've taken to combine on-line and off-line action:

200 video interviews, organizing DFA Oakland meetings, video taping DFA events like training, etc.

Why I want to attend Netroots Nation:

I want to continue interviewing progressives for my documentary on 'What are Progressive Values?". I'm also working on articulating the failure of Conservative Values. I've interviewed 200 people so far and placed over 400 video clips on Youtube. I'd like to interview as many Progressives at Netroots as possible.

What I want to get out of Netroots Nation:

I hope to get more interviews and to get the word out about how conservative values have failed and explain the Progressive alternative values of caring, empathy, community, equality, justice, open mindedness, etc.

Jim Hightower lives in Austin and I've talked to him about doing an interview there.. I can't wait for that! I wake up every morning to his inspirations on NPR.

What is a progressive activist:

Progressive activists are the hind legs of the donkey. They're the kick in the stubborn donkey.

How I think Democracy For America fits into the progressive movement:

DFA is where the tires hit the road. They're smokin' and burning rubber.
