The Watercooler for 11/21/08 1:00 AM
DFA's home for a free form, open-ended discussion of what matters most to committed progressive activists.
Watercooler resets everyday at 1am, 9am and 5pm. Past threads can be found in the Watercooler Archive
But I will post "Los Hermanos Macana" ... two dancing brothers who were teaching and entertaining at the Las Vegas tango festival I was at a short time ago. The taller one constantly flirts with women in the audience during their performance. Nice guys, good dancers, very amusing, so-so teachers. Their performances are quite rehearsed, unlike the other vids I post. Tango is definitely in the moment. Nevertheless, they're fun to watch and talk with. They're dancing a milonga to the orchestra "Color Tango."

By Sitka on Nov 21, 2008 1:07 AM ESTAnd Wasillabilly is the gift that keeps giving. If she keeps it up she won't even be able to land a daytime talk show gig -- on a local Wasilla TV station.
She's talks her usual gibberish while turkeys are slaughtered in the background...
Video
Her words were just background chatter as the guy killing turkeys dominated my attention. All I remember hearing her say was.....
"I'm SO THRILLED to be here today!"
Thrilled to be at a turkey slaughter??? That's bordering on perversion.
I'm betting this becomes a skit on SNL. They won't even have to change a thing, except to have the turkeys scream in the background as she says, "gobble gobble."
